| "I wanted my overall ability to improve to near fluency and that the course would be both educational and entertaining. I feel I achieved both goals!
The lessons were good and the teaching effective yet informal. Lessons consisted of discussions where student contribution was encouraged, exercises to develop hearing, writing, reading and writing skills were good. Overall it was excellent... I found the CESA brochure very informative and the staff really helpful. Jack Sommers, German Academic Year Course, Berlin |

"My spoken German definitely improved and I became more confident using it. My grammar was reinforced but still didn’t come naturally. In general the course was definitely a great way of meeting people and I felt my skiing improved dramatically. The ski instruction was fantastic. CESA was great and all the information provided was very helpful. Passing the exam and wearing the ski instructor’s uniform for the first time are probably my most memorable moments. Also the achievement of getting through your first lessons as an instructor. The times when you know you’ve helped to make someone’s holiday. I will go back next year during my University holidays." |

"My German improved significantly. The best part of the course was the opportunity to really practice spoken German. I thoroughly enjoyed Munich ... I have nothing but the highest praise for CESA. I found CESA unfailingly patient in answering all my questions. CESA was always very friendly and able to give extremely useful and informative advice on the courses I was considering taking... I would definitely go again, my most memorable moments were my fellow students and going to watch Bayern Munich play football!” Hannah Bishopp, German Academic Year Course, Munich |
