The Chinese Language School offers short and long term group Mandarin Chinese language courses and private tuition too. So whether you have just a few weeks, or several months to dedicate to your studies, Shanghai has plenty to offer. You can also combine your studies with a course in Beijing, at the sister school.
NB: The Shanghai dialect is different to Mandarin, so the Chinese spoken in the street can’t be understood easily by most foreign students unless they spend a long time in the city, but students love studying here due to openness of the Shangainese and the glamour & dynamic nature of the city.

With over 5 years of teaching experience, and between 60 /110 students studying each month the Chinese language school in Shanghai offers a serious study environment catering for ALL linguistic needs (5 main language levels are offered, which are then subdivided again). Well located, in the Huangpu District, just 10 minutes walk from the famous Bund and a short walk to the Grand Theatre & Shanghai museum. The Chinese school caters for all ages (but mainly 19/35yrs) and facilities include 20 classrooms (with air con) & internet access. Accommodation is offered in shared student apartments, private apartments or with local Chinese hosts for those looking for a total immersion experience.
