Accommodation in Bordeaux

Accommodation is offered in and around the city of Bordeaux. Allow between 15 and 40 minutes for the one way commute to college.

French hosts/Private households

Staying with local French hosts is a great way to really immerse yourself in the French lifestyle and experience the French language in daily use.  Students can book a single room with hosts, either with half-board (breakfast and the evening meal) or on a self-catering basis (so that they have access to the kitchen and can prepare their own meals).  The French language school also offer friends and couples the chance to share a room in French host accommodation in Bordeaux, but students must book the programme for the same course duration in order to stay in shared room accommodation. 

Private Studios/Apartments

There are a number of self contained, self-catering studios, between 10 to 25 mins walk from the college. With studios for 1 to 4 people complete with kitchenette, bathroom & telephone. Please ask CESA for Apartment details and prices and we can email them on to you.

Hotels

There are several very pleasant hotels just minutes from the college. We will be happy to email some details to you on request.  Please note a daily tax of approx. 0.85 to 1.90 Euros per night/per person applies to all Hotels.

Travel

Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Sunday PM

Travel direct to Bordeaux:

Fly to Bordeaux's International airport from Gatwick, Birmingham or London's Stansted airport
Take the train from the UK by Eurostar via Lille and Poitiers.

Your hosts will collect you from the airport or the station (this only applies when you book French hosts/private household accommodation) or alternatively you can take a taxi or bus to your accommodation.
