Accommodation in Paris
Please note that the accommodation is in residential areas of Paris and adjacent suburbs will involve a degree of daily commuting, allow between 20/30 minutes each way. The college has inspected all the accommodation offered.
Many hosts live in the 19th Ar. which is easily reached by a 20 minute metro journey, others live more centrally in Paris (but very central hosts are very limited in number, so cannot be guaranteed in advance).
Private household:
Single room, half-board (breakfast and evening meal) or B&B offered.
Open to students 16yrs+
Residential accommodation:
Only 30 minutes by metro from the college.
Maximum booking accepted: 2 months duration.
Open to students 18yrs+
Single and shared room with half-board on site (clean but basic standard). Rooms have their own small en suite bathrooms. The rooms are in high demand, particularly in the summer months, please book well in advance. Self service restaurant, traditional restaurant, snack bar, disco, tourist information office, bar with garden terrace and an internet café on site.
Hotels (of all categories):
Single or double rooms.
NB: Needs to be booked well in advance.
The college charge a reservation fee.
Local 2*,3* & 4* Hotel options. Please specify dates and style of room required.
Private Apartment:
Open to students 18yrs+
Early reservation recommended.
There are a wide variety of apartments to rent, we recommend this option for long term students. Please discuss with CESA if of interest.
Travel
Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday PM
Travel direct to Paris by Eurostar or plane (generally to Charles de Gaulle airport) You can then take the transfer service (at an additional cost) or alternatively a taxi or train/metro to your accommodation.
