Social Activities in Kitzbuhel
All students are encouraged to make the most of their time in Kitzbuhel by participating in the guided excursions and activities offered by the college. The College offers such activities as; visits to Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich, town visits, hiking, mountain biking, and visits to the lake depending on student interest. There is also a social programme on certain evenings. In the ski season, students go skiing and snow boarding
Activities outside of the College:
The ski season in Kitzbuhel is between the end of November and the beginning of May. Students can take advantage of this and take some skiing lessons during there time in Kitzbuhel. If students prefer they can have snow boarding lessons as well. To go to Kitzbuhel and not ski or snowboard down the gorgeous mountains would truly be criminal.
There is a gym just 5 minutes walk from the school and students from the school get a special discounted membership rate. There is also a swimming pool is in the town centre for the more active students.
There are 4 golf courses in Kitzbuhel, for those students that like playing golf and improving their handicap. There is also a riding school located on a hill not too far away from the school. Students can take riding lessons at an extra cost or go on a ride out through the beautiful mountain passes.
There are plenty of bars, nightclubs and discos in Kitzbuhel. The après ski atmosphere is evident all year round. The famous “Londoner” pub has a well-earned reputation for being Kitzbuhel`s busiest nightspot.
