Learn Italian in Viareggio
Accommodation in Viareggio
In Viareggio students can choose to stay with local Italian hosts, in small local hotels or shared apartments. NB: As Viareggio is a seaside resort, the accommodation costs vary depending on the time of the year. There are three accommodation seasons (low, med and high), the most expensive period being early July through to early September.
Private households:
Stay with local hosts, in apartments in either single or shared rooms (shared rooms are only on offer if travelling as a couple or with a friend) on a B&B basis. Staying with hosts allows you to speak Italians with local people out of class and they are generally 20 minutes commute from the college.
Shared apartments:
Apartments are between 10 to 25 minutes commute from the college. For 18+ age group only, who are used to an independent lifestyle. The apartments consist of a communal kitchen and bathroom and a single or shared (for friends only) bedroom each. Minimum let: 2 weeks. Apartments are shared with local Italian people or other students. If you have a preference please let CESA know when enrolling. We will do our best to meet your requirements, if possible.
Hotels:
The college works with a number of small local Hotels, that offer B&B (or half-board for a supplement) and either shared bathrooms or at extra cost a private bathroom. Please let us know your preferences when booking.
Travel
Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday PM
We recommend students fly to Pisa airport and then take the train or a taxi to Viareggio. You are welcome to book a transfer service at an additional cost from Pisa airport.
