Accommodation in Cadiz

Cadiz is a lively city and is easy to get around as most accommodation is no more than 30 minutes from the college on foot.

Private households: Stay with local hosts in single or shared room accommodation on a half or full board basis. Allow for a 10/30 minute commute each way. Half-board = breakfast and lunch. Dinners offered on request (but the majority of students book the breakfast/lunch option). If you are following a programme of 25 lessons or more (per week) discuss changing to breakfast and dinner with CESA, as it may be easier for you.

Flat share (with Spanish people): Popular option for those who prefer more independence but still want the contact with Spanish people, out of class. Self catering, single (or in some cases shared) rooms, on offer to students aged 18+ yrs.

Travel

Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday AM

Students generally fly to Jerez airport and take a taxi, bus or college arranged transfer to their accommodation. The transfer service is at additional cost to your accommodation (one or two way service offered).

The airport nearest Cadiz is the Jerez Airport (35 kilometers away). It is the airport that services Cadiz and the Costa de la Luz. It is a small airport (much smaller in comparation with the airports of Madrid or Malaga).

Travelling from Jerez airport to Cadiz is straight forward:

1/  Take a taxi.  It will cost around €45.
It is a 30 to 40-minute ride from Jerez airport to Cadiz.

2/ Take the bus.  It will cost around €2.60.
The M-050 and M-051 buses to Cadiz run all day, 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The bus ride usually runs for 1 hour, 15 minutes.

3/ Hire a car and drive to Cadiz.

4/ Take the college arranged Transfer Service.

Seville airport is a major airport and has direct flights to major international cities.
