Social Activities in Granada

All students are encouraged to make the most of their time in Granada by participating in the guided excursions and activities offered by the college.

College arranged events allow students to explore Granada’s historic sites and museums include the Alhambra, walks in Sierra Nevada National Park, Royal Chapel & Cathedral etc. They view the excursion and activity programme as a fundamental aspect of their over all programme and encourage students to participate.

Many activities are free of charge; Spanish film nights, themed evenings and mucical evenings at the college. Otherwise a small charge is made so that students can enjoy paella in the garden, dinner in a local restaurant, skiing in Sierra Nevada and full day excursions are offered which includes the chance to visit Seville or Cordoba, a trip to the beach or Cadiz Bay at Carnival time.

For those who want to explore Granada’s nightlife we recommend the bars and restaurants in the city centre. The college staff and no doubt the other students will have plenty of ideas for favourite bars for you to try.
