Social Activities in Nerja
All students are encouraged to make the most of their time in Nerja, Andalucia by participating in the guided excursions and activities offered by the Spanish language school.
In fact it is possible to pre-pay for the cultural programme arranged by the college whilst in the UK. This is particularly recommended during the summer, when activities can quickly become fully booked.
There are a number of events offered by the college throughout the year;
Sangria parties,
Barbecues,
Flamenco classes &
Spanish cookery lessons
Excursions are also offered on a weekly basis to a variety of locations such as; Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba etc. These events are always accompanied by a Spanish guide.
Students make the most of the fabulous beaches during the Spring, Summer and early Autumn.
From April to October it is possible to enjoy beach life in Nerja and whilst we can't guarantee perpetual sunshines, the odds are far better for warm to hot weather for most of the year!
In addition if you are in Nerja during the various Feria's you are able to experience Andalucia in party mode, a truly memorable experience....
the February Carnival, with its street parades
the celebration of Easter during Semana Santa &
the Festival of the Cave in July a feast of flamenco and classical music set against the dramatic backdrop of the Nerja caves
... being the most notable events of the Nerja year.
For those who want to explore Nerja's night life we recommend the bars and restaurants in the town, just behind the Balcon de Europa.
